Join Marin-based florist Eugenia Ballvé Svendsen of La Brise studio at Flora and Henri Marin for a hands-on flower arranging workshop focusing on color palette.
Space is limited. Each ticket includes all flowers and a glass vessel for taking home the arrangement you design. Please bring your own clippers. You are welcome to bring your own vase if you wish.

Isadora Gullov-Singh, At The Still Point

Opening with the Artist: Saturday, September 13, 4-6:00pm.
Sarah Shepard Gallery is pleased to announce At The Still Point, the gallery’s first solo exhibition of work by Bay Area artist Isadora Gullov-Singh. At The Still Point features new acrylic, watercolor, and cold wax on linen paintings in Gullov-Singh’s signature restrained palette. The title of the show makes reference to a T.S. Eliot poem from the Four Quartets, in which Eliot writes: “At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;/ Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is…” Through Gullov-Singh’s ongoing exploration of this liminal “still point,” she aims to deepen the dialogue between structure and release, presence and absence, material and emotion.

Local heirloom pumpkins at our Honor System Pumpkin Patch, open through October 31st. Traditional Howden jack-o'-lanterns for carving, or Cinderella Pumpkins, great for carving and delicious for eating. Large selection of specialty pumpkins in a range of colors – white to beige to green, striped green and orange, and some with warts! Pumpkin varieties include Musquee de Provence, Speckled Hound, and Marina Di Chioggia among others.
Guess the weight of the GIANT pumpkin outside The Trading Post for a prize. Submit your guesses at the Trading Post all month.

From scraps to stunning, see how Maya and Rumi transform their backyard into a world of creativity! Twins Maya and Rumi have just turned ten. Their mother's childhood teacher gifted them two unique handcrafted dolls made out of scraps of wool, leather, and cloth. Rumi named her doll Miri, and Maya called hers Jade. The twins loved their new dolls, but they felt the dolls' clothing was old-fashioned and out of style. They decided to handmake clothing for Miri and Jade.
