La Ligne’s unique utilization of the stripe on a garment acknowledges the infinite forms that can take shape-from an iconic Breton stripe to a simple piping detail, to a bold color block. With this philosophy, La Ligne offers both timeless and seasonally urgent styles that enable women to distinctively make the stripe their own.
La Ligne’s confident vision is a product of its stripe-obsessed co-founders-Meredith Melling, Valerie Macaulay, and Molly Howard-with more than thirty years of experience in the fashion business between them. Drawing on their backgrounds at Vogue and rag & bone, the team partnered together to create a modern brand united in the belief that the best things in fashion (and life) are universal, timeless, and classic, but never off limits for reinvention.
Beyond the product, La Ligne believes that the community is stronger than the individual and champions fellow female creatives, activists and entrepreneurs through collaborations, non-profit partnerships, and playful, intelligent content.
