Founded by cousins Kim and Tyler Malek in Portland, Oregon in 2011, the brand has redefined what ice cream can be, transforming each scoop into a storytelling experience. Salt & Straw started as a single ice cream cart and has grown into a beloved brand with over 55 shops across Oregon, Washington, California, New York, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, and New England – including flagship shops at Disneyland and at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Every shop is deeply rooted in the neighborhood it calls home. Salt & Straw collaborates with local farmers, artisans, and makers in each market to craft flavors that tell the story of that city – from a Salty Donut Guava + Cheese collaboration in Miami to a Chocolate Babka with Hazelnut Fudge crafted with Breads Bakery in New York City.
