Join us for Marin Country Mart’s 10th Annual Pie Baking Contest. Bring your proudest pie to the big Farmers Market tent by 10am on the morning of Saturday, October 8th to enter the competition. Winners are announced at 1pm. Free to participate. No need to RSVP, just show up on the day.

Three Babes Bakeshop will be serving pie all day and performing pie making demonstrations from 10:30am - 11:30am.

Pie categories:
1. Adults
2. Kids (14 and under)

Rules:
Pie entries should be prepared in a disposable 9" pie tin, and must be accompanied by the title of your pie, your name, your category, your phone number, and the pie recipe. Only one entry per person.

Ingredients:
Ingredients must be all-natural (natural does not contain any artificial ingredients, coloring, or chemical preservatives), and seasonal. Sweet or savory pies are accepted.

Judging Criteria:
Pies will be judged on taste, presentation, and flakiness of the crust. Extra points for beautiful and creative submissions. Pies will be judged by Three Babes Bakeshop and Gibson Thomas, Editor-in-Chief of Edible Marin.

Prizes:
Adult Prize: First prize $200 to Mart store of your choice. 2nd and 3rd place. Hudson Grace & Copperfield’s Bookstore Gift Cards
Kids Prize: First Prize $75 Gift Card to Mart store of your choice 2nd and 3rd place Toy Crazy & Copperfield’s Gift cards.
